Week 1 Ends...and Week 2 Begins!

Week 1 ended with a bang...I'm feeling great and loving P90X...however, I'm very sore! I know that it will go away in time. No pain, No gain right! Tomorrow starts Week 2 and I'm ready to BRING IT! I'm really enjoying this...it really makes me push myself to the limit. I look forward to seeing my final results at the end of these 90 days...but I'm also looking forward too, how much my strength increase. I've been really concern the decrease in strength over the last year so this is great for addressing that issue. Until next time...

Week1 Day 4 So Intense

I had an awesome/butt kicking workout this morning. It consist of 1.5 hour of Yoga Xtreme by P90X. It was challenging but I dug deep down in there and pull out some heart and keep it moving. I know it's going to take a minute for me to become acclimated to the program. However, I'm working as hard as I can to increase my reps and make sure that I have the correct stance. In proper form when I'm finally complete. Eating is on track...however, I may start implementing more food in my diet in moderation. Until tomorrow...Love the Life you Live!

It's Been a Long Time

It's been a Long Time...I recall posting this last year.
However, I'm determined to be more consistent with my entries. I recently started P90X so I'm very excited about that. I had an awesome Shoulder and Arms workout this morning. Boy... did I feel the burn! I'm currently doing a high protein low carb diet so all well in that area. I know the next 90 days will be a challenge...but I'm ready for it! Have a great day!

I'm Trying...

It's taking some time, but I'm slowing working my way back. I can't say that I'm physically out of shape, because I have been working out during my absence away from running. But I just don't have the endurance that I had before. I walked/run again today for about 40 minutes. It's like I don't have any motivation. I really think I need to register for a race and start training. I'm determined to get back on track. I'm doing well with weight training...not every day but every other so that's positive. My eating has been on point the last few days.

It's Been A While


It's been a long time since I've made an entry here! All is well on my end...I started week 5 of the BFL challenge today. So far so good with that! And I will be doing a 5k with my job on Oct 11th. It's Been a While!

It's been a while since I made an entry and since I've actually hit the pavement. I went out to the track and walk/jog from 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. I know my body is going to hate me tomorrow but I had to start some where! No more excuses...I've got to get back on track with my training. I feel a sense of accomplishment today! Happy Running Everyone!
