I'm Trying...

It's taking some time, but I'm slowing working my way back. I can't say that I'm physically out of shape, because I have been working out during my absence away from running. But I just don't have the endurance that I had before. I walked/run again today for about 40 minutes. It's like I don't have any motivation. I really think I need to register for a race and start training. I'm determined to get back on track. I'm doing well with weight training...not every day but every other so that's positive. My eating has been on point the last few days.

Wow...It's Been A Long Time!

It's been a long time since I've blogged here...but I'm back! It's time to get back on track and become consistent with my training. I've basically been walking/running, which is not my goal. So here is consistency and accountability.

It's Been A While


It's been a long time since I've made an entry here! All is well on my end...I started week 5 of the BFL challenge today. So far so good with that! And I will be doing a 5k with my job on Oct 11th. I hope everyone is doing and I look forward to catching up with everyone! Have a wonderful and productive day!

It's Been a While!

It's been a while since I made an entry and since I've actually hit the pavement. I went out to the track and walk/jog from 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. I know my body is going to hate me tomorrow but I had to start some where! No more excuses...I've got to get back on track with my training. I feel a sense of accomplishment today! Happy Running Everyone!

It's Been A While!

Wow...how time flys...it's been a while since I've posted. Right after my first race I end up with the flu and my migraines came back with a vengance! I have not ran in a while...I have been walking during lunch. :) That has to count for something!

It's time to get back on the grind and set new goals. My goal is to hit the track at Churchland tomorrow. NO EXCUSES!

Making Great Strides In the Right Direction!

I end up going out on the track and running about 1.5 miles while I waited for my daughter to finish basketball practice last night. I did not do any formal exercise today...I just took the stairs instead of the elevator and parked further away from the office. So far so good with my eating...I've decided to only weigh myself once a week so that I don't become a slave to the scale. I think Friday will be my day to weigh in day. This will let me see my accomplishment over the week and kind of keep me on track over the weekend. So far my eating has been good over the last few days...I'm really thinking about what I put in mouth.

HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE!


I've been up since 3 a.m. I don't know why I'm so restless tonight....anyway I decided to get onthe scale and I'm so disappointed in what it displayed. It's time for me to step my game up and get these 10lbs off. I know I have been very relaxed with eating carbs lately so that will come to a halt today. I will walk for 30 minutes during lunch and try and go for a run tonight. I will also increase my water in take. And I will cut out my snacks.
